XANES and EXAFS spectra in operando condition have been recorded at the XAFS beamline on the most active material, the copper hexacyanoferrate cathodes for lithium batteries. The beam time session was not extremely successful because of problems due to the machine and beamline, and to a cell short circuit. At least a full data were acquired at the Co and Fe metal K-edges on one sample, but the experiment using the newest material (copper hexacyanoferrate with a ligand modification) was unsuccessful.
