This paper describes a blended e-learning course of English Language and Linguistics that is part of the curriculum of the first cycle (‘triennale’, equivalent to a BA) degree programme in ‘Foreign Languages and Literatures’ and ‘Asian Languages, Markets and Cultures’ taught at the School of Languages, Literatures, Translation and Interpreting of the University of Bologna. This course represents the latest development of a project that has been ongoing since 2002 (Freddi et al. 2008) to promote the integration of e-learning methodologies into the teaching curricula not only of foreign languages, but of a variety of programmes offered by the University of Bologna, initially through a set of three different Learning Management Systems, or LMSs (ATutor, Moodle and AlmaChannel; see Comba 2008), and now through Moodle alone.

Abstract
This paper describes a blended e-learning course of English Language and Linguistics that is part of the curriculum of the first cycle (‘triennale’, equivalent to a BA) degree programme in ‘Foreign Languages and Literatures’ and ‘Asian Languages, Markets and Cultures’ taught at the School of Languages, Literatures, Translation and Interpreting of the University of Bologna. This course represents the latest development of a project that has been ongoing since 2002 (Freddi et al. 2008) to promote the integration of e-learning methodologies into the teaching curricula not only of foreign languages, but of a variety of programmes offered by the University of Bologna, initially through a set of three different Learning Management Systems, or LMSs (ATutor, Moodle and AlmaChannel; see Comba 2008), and now through Moodle alone.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
