The essay explore the correlations between the historical-construction study of the building, the causes of the static disturbance and the real kinematic collapse mechanisms. There appears to be a cultural rift between theoretical assumptions and analysis methods due to the generic approach of technicians, based more on flexibly-structured methodologies than on research into the historical-construction fact. The related studies should be extended to the consolidation project, to define the relations between vertical stratigraphic reading, evolutionary process of the building and seismic chronology. The aim is to understand the construction system and its changes, which have determined behavioural static problems, and verifying the reaction to historical earthquakes and the repairs carried.

Abstract
The essay explore the correlations between the historical-construction study of the building, the causes of the static disturbance and the real kinematic collapse mechanisms. There appears to be a cultural rift between theoretical assumptions and analysis methods due to the generic approach of technicians, based more on flexibly-structured methodologies than on research into the historical-construction fact. The related studies should be extended to the consolidation project, to define the relations between vertical stratigraphic reading, evolutionary process of the building and seismic chronology. The aim is to understand the construction system and its changes, which have determined behavioural static problems, and verifying the reaction to historical earthquakes and the repairs carried.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
