During this beamtime at SYRMEP beamline, we investigated the fast transient electrical response (photocurrent) of different organic molecular crystals under monochromatic X-ray beam, with energy ranging between 10keV and 21keV, and varying the dose rate down to 0.6mGy/s, with the aim of evaluating the sensitivity of the tested detectors and their responses to the different photon energies.First, 4HCB single crystal-based detector (Figure 1a) has been characterized in order to carry on a deeper investigation on its dynamical response to the irradiation and, at the same time, to keep it as a benchmark for the comparison with the other molecular crystals screened. In Figure 1b the dynamical response of 4HCB-based detector is reported. This kind of measurement was carried on employing several facilities of the SYRMEP beamline: i) the possibility to achieve a monochromatic X-ray, ii) impinging on the sample focused on an area of few mm2 - tunable by means of slits and thanks to a CCD camera; and iii) with different dose rates (employing a series of aluminum filters witch modulate the dose rate on the sample) real-time monitored through a ionization chamber.

Abstract
This kind of measurement was carried on employing several facilities of the SYRMEP beamline: i) the possibility to achieve a monochromatic X-ray, ii) impinging on the sample focused on an area of few mm2 - tunable by means of slits and thanks to a CCD camera; and iii) with different dose rates (employing a series of aluminum filters witch modulate the dose rate on the sample) real-time monitored through a ionization chamber.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
