Recently a new topographic instrument appeared in the market, it consist in a GPS combined to a Total-Station (theodolite and EDM). This new instruments provide also some defined procedure based principally in the side shot approach. In this work the authors have performed some simulations in order to evidence the dependence of the final accuracy from the survey geometry. The results will be shown in term of standard ellipses
