The feeding habits of Lophius budegassa in the Northern-Central Adriatic sea were studied. The diet includes principally Teleostei, Crustacea, Mollusca. Teleostei constituting the favorite preys. Within Teleostei the favorite prey is Merluccius merluccius. A change in food quantitative stomach, according to the size, the season and bathymetric, was observed. No differences were found between male and female diets.
