The marine collection of the Laboratory of Marine Biology and Fishery of Fano-University of Bologna, was catalogated for the first time. The collection was started in 1939 by Scaccini and it is very important as a documentary source to make comparison with the actual situation in the North-Middle Adriatic Sea to assess the decreasing biodiversity.
