It is well known that cement and/or polymer composite materials represent a very versatile class of materials thanks to the possibility of optimizing the final physical-mechanical characteristics (1-3). It is also possible to recycle by-products of different origin, otherwise disposed to landfill (4-12). Following these previous studies, in this paper the possibility of using strengthening resin in self compacting cementitious mortar (SCM) is investigated in order to achieve both strength improvement and SCM properties at the fresh state, without the addition of any viscosity modifying agent (VMA), taking advantage only of the presence of the strengthening resin. The effects of mix design on the final physical and mechanical self compacting properties of the studied composite materials are therefore investigated and discussed.

Abstract
The effects of mix design on the final physical and mechanical self compacting properties of the studied composite materials are therefore investigated and discussed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
