This paper presents the application of a Kernel Quantum Classifier, a new general-purpose classifier based on quantum probability theory, in the domain of emotion recognition. It participates to the EVALITA 2014 Emotion Recognition Challenge exhibiting relatively good results and ranking at the first place in the challenge.
