We would like to thank Drs. Matthew Prior and Nick Raine-Fenning [1] for their letter about our article where is reported that the reproductive performance after hysteroscopic metroplasty in cases of partial uterine septum and infertility is independent of septum size [2]. These authors rise two questions: a) the absence of prospective, randomized, controlled trials (RCTs) on the topic in the literature and b) the potential persistence of any residual uterine septum.
