In the present study, an accurate comparison between results by pushover methodology for RC frame structures and Incremental Dynamic Analysis (IDA) has been performed. Fifty artificially generated spectrum-compatible time-histories have been employed to perform incremental dynamic analyses. Different pushover procedures have been analysed: conventional (first-mode distribution, uniform distribution) and displacement-based adaptive pushover analysis (DAP) have been carried out to predict structural behaviour of three frame structures.
