In recent decades agriculture has become more and more intensive, increasing crop yields but also causing negative effects on the environment. For this reason, in recent years there has been a spread of environmentally and economically sound agricultural methods. Among these, organic farming systems are gaining attention worldwide for their emphasis on food quality and soil health. Homeopathic preparations, due to their extreme dilutions, could be suitable for use in organic agriculture. This paper is an up-to-date review of the literature subsequent to Scofield's report on homeopathy and also presents some projects in progress.

Abstract
In recent decades agriculture has become more and more intensive, increasing crop yields but also causing negative effects on the environment. For this reason, in recent years there has been a spread of environmentally and economically sound agricultural methods. Among these, organic farming systems are gaining attention worldwide for their emphasis on food quality and soil health. Homeopathic preparations, due to their extreme dilutions, could be suitable for use in organic agriculture. This paper is an up-to-date review of the literature subsequent to Scofield's report on homeopathy and also presents some projects in progress.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
