This article studies Europeanisation and regionalisation as possible strategies of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the European Union. It reviews stages of implementation of both strategies in politics, economics, discourse practices and education. The internal and external factors of implementation of both strategies are defined. The authors argues that the two strategies may complement or contradict one another, which depends on the sphere of their application.
