The availability by the ASTER multispectral sensor of five thermal channels (ranging between 8.29 and 11.31 µm), allows to carry out several surface investigations such as environmental and land studies basically devoted to the knowledge and interpretation or some thermalphenomena(temperature or anomaly-related). This study is trying to address the potential of satellite data (at the processing levels L1A and L1B) trough the use of algorithms based on the main thermodynamical laws and basics. The validation of results obtained needs the comparison between results provided by the set of data and procedures besides and temperature as recorded during ground surveys within the investigated area. Test areas for our purposes are different as localization and surface type: the wetland area "Valli di Comacchio", Emilia Romagna and the coastal zone close to the city of Taranto, Puglia

Abstract
Test areas for our purposes are different as localization and surface type: the wetland area "Valli di Comacchio", Emilia Romagna and the coastal zone close to the city of Taranto, PugliaI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
