The book recognizes the Non-territorial Cultural Autonomy Principle as an “alternative strategy” to the “nineteenth-century liberal and orthodox Marxist” and to the “conventional” territorial-based national autonomy model. The international relevance of the issue becomes evident in the discussion provided by the two co-authors in the introduction of the volume about the use made by the League of Nations of NCAs as instruments of Diversity Management in the 1920s, as well as in the analysis of the case studies presented in the final 4 chapters of the book. Even though perhaps not exhaustively, the book certainly brings interesting insights in the discussion concerning non-territorial cultural autonomies as an alternative strategy for the management of national diversities in multi-ethnic societies

Abstract
The book recognizes the Non-territorial Cultural Autonomy Principle as an “alternative strategy” to the “nineteenth-century liberal and orthodox Marxist” and to the “conventional” territorial-based national autonomy model. The international relevance of the issue becomes evident in the discussion provided by the two co-authors in the introduction of the volume about the use made by the League of Nations of NCAs as instruments of Diversity Management in the 1920s, as well as in the analysis of the case studies presented in the final 4 chapters of the book. Even though perhaps not exhaustively, the book certainly brings interesting insights in the discussion concerning non-territorial cultural autonomies as an alternative strategy for the management of national diversities in multi-ethnic societiesI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
