40 trawl surveys carried out in the National Water and International Water of the North and Central Adriatic Sea from 1982 to 2004 by Marine Biology and Fishery Laboratory of Fano, are analysed. These data form two wide time series used to study the geographic distributions, the trends of abundance and the length-frequency distributions of three species of Pagellus (Osteichthyes, Sparidae): P. erythrinus, P. acarne and P. bogaraveo.
