The paper deals with the properties verbs must have in order to form result nominals. Result nominals are generally considered as a by-product of event nominals from which they differ not demanding the presence of arguments. In this paper the properties of result nominals are analised together with the different behavior they manifest in order to show that "result nominal" is a cover term for different kinds of deverbal derivatives.

Abstract
The paper deals with the properties verbs must have in order to form result nominals. Result nominals are generally considered as a by-product of event nominals from which they differ not demanding the presence of arguments. In this paper the properties of result nominals are analised together with the different behavior they manifest in order to show that "result nominal" is a cover term for different kinds of deverbal derivatives.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
