The paper address the coexistence of Bluetooth (BT) and IEEE802.11g systems. The interference on BT is analytically evaluated as well as the performance when diversity reception in Ricean fading is considered. We firstly derive the expression of the mean block error probability in the presence of interference, then we extend the analysis to the mean packet error probability and to the coexistence distance. Due to multiple receiving antennas, results show the not negligible performance improvement and the reduction of the minimum coexistence distance

Abstract
The paper address the coexistence of Bluetooth (BT) and IEEE802.11g systems. The interference on BT is analytically evaluated as well as the performance when diversity reception in Ricean fading is considered. We firstly derive the expression of the mean block error probability in the presence of interference, then we extend the analysis to the mean packet error probability and to the coexistence distance. Due to multiple receiving antennas, results show the not negligible performance improvement and the reduction of the minimum coexistence distanceI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
