This experiment aimed to measure internal quality of apricots varieties Bergarouge (Arivine) and Goldrich, grown in Valais, in a non-destructive way by using the protable spectrometer NIRs developed by the University of Bologna. The measurement method is based on the principle of radiance spectroscopy close to infra-red. The values obtained about the parameters of soluble solid content (IR), flesh firmness and content of dry matter (%) were compared to those obtained with usual methods (destructive analysis). Correlation values superior to 0,81 were obtained. These results show an interesting potential of this method to determine the quality of fruits in a non-destructive way

Abstract
This experiment aimed to measure internal quality of apricots varieties Bergarouge (Arivine) and Goldrich, grown in Valais, in a non-destructive way by using the protable spectrometer NIRs developed by the University of Bologna. The measurement method is based on the principle of radiance spectroscopy close to infra-red. The values obtained about the parameters of soluble solid content (IR), flesh firmness and content of dry matter (%) were compared to those obtained with usual methods (destructive analysis). Correlation values superior to 0,81 were obtained.
