This paper shows some results about the current research on the pilot plant for hot treatment of waste combustion gas. The pilot plant, located on HERA waste-to-energy plant in Forlì, allows to improve global conversion energy efficiency without decreasing superheater useful life, by the use of a CaCO3 fluidized bed. The experimental results complete a research step on the plant and they are related to a vertical fluidized bed. As a consequence of fluidized bed obstruction (caused by dust), some innovative, for their application, devices have been designed. In this paper, experimental results, about the application of an Air Chock at the fluidised bed bottom, will be shown.

Abstract
This paper shows some results about the current research on the pilot plant for hot treatment of waste combustion gas. The pilot plant, located on HERA waste-to-energy plant in Forlì, allows to improve global conversion energy efficiency without decreasing superheater useful life, by the use of a CaCO3 fluidized bed. The experimental results complete a research step on the plant and they are related to a vertical fluidized bed. As a consequence of fluidized bed obstruction (caused by dust), some innovative, for their application, devices have been designed. In this paper, experimental results, about the application of an Air Chock at the fluidised bed bottom, will be shown.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
