The poster presents "geolat" - geography for latin literature - which aim is to annotate every placename in the latin literature using a geographical ontology for the ancient world which must be built from scratch. The main methodology is that of starting from a prototype where a geographical ontology is used to annotate place names in latin texts. Adding more ontologies, that is more types of categories, would offer a more complex access to the texts and the knowledge they contain.
