The rotational spectra of trifluoroanisole (trifluoromethoxybenzene, C6H5OCF3) and of its 13C and 18O isotopologues in natural abundance have been measured in a supersonic expansion with pulsed-jet Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy. The spectrum is consistent with a perpendicular conformation of the CF3 group with respect to the phenyl ring.

Abstract
The rotational spectra of trifluoroanisole (trifluoromethoxybenzene, C6H5OCF3) and of its 13C and 18O isotopologues in natural abundance have been measured in a supersonic expansion with pulsed-jet Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy. The spectrum is consistent with a perpendicular conformation of the CF3 group with respect to the phenyl ring.File in questo prodotto:
