Riflessioni sul mentire. A partire da una rilettura della vecchia polemica tra Kant e Constant

This paper analyzes the question of lying from a philosophical point of view. It focuses on the famous controversy between Kant and Constant trying to enucleate the complex typology of arguments that the two philosophers elaborate to condemn (Kant) or defend (Constant) lying. On the ground of this comparison the author recognizes a common element: the moral and political refusal of arbitrariness.
