Introduction The posture is an important function that accompanies the life of everyone. The semi-body inequality, present in each person, can be assuming a normal or abnormal status both in the ordinary life and sport performance. Aims The aim of this study was an attempt to investigate the posture development in Italian children aged 6 -10 to determine possible transition phases, in the different ages, and compare the difference between who practise sport and who don’t practise sport. Methods The participants were 200 children from Italian primary school. Correcta BR/2034 tests were applied to estimate standing posture, with open and closed eyes, and the distribution of the weight on the fundamental feet pillars. The collected material was analyzed statistically. Test T were used to show differences between the different ages of the sample and between the sport and non-sport practicing. Results The obtained results show a difference between sportmen and no-sportmen. Differences were showed on the fundamental feet pillars weight distibution. Correlations was found between feet pillars weight distribution and sport practice. In particularly gymnastic and dance's atlhetes showed better posture contol (pressure center significative diminution) respect other sports. Other differences were noticed about with poor sight. Posture is an important factor that should be educated in children sport training as a significant character of human development. Isn't true tua each sport help the right development of the correct posture. This sutdy showed that during each trainig's drill it's important to realize a pusture education 's small.
