This paper discusses the provisions of Art.1 of the Legislative Decree 91/2013 concerning Pompeii's archaeological site. While the goals of these provisions could be endorsed, in particular the implementation of the "Pompeii project" co-financed by the European Union, quite a few objections arise in relation to the attached organisational measures.
