The 1st example of a polymer-supported In Lewis acid is presented. This new heterogeneous Amberlyst 15/In complex effectively catalyzes (20 mol % based on In) the formation of new C-C as well as C-S bonds through the highly regio- and stereoselective ring-opening reaction of enantiomerically pure epoxides by indoles and 2-naphthalenethiol, resp. The easily prepd. Amberlyst 15/In Lewis acid does not require inert atm. conditions or anhyd. media and can be easily recovered and recycled for several times without loss of activity.

Abstract
The 1st example of a polymer-supported In Lewis acid is presented. This new heterogeneous Amberlyst 15/In complex effectively catalyzes (20 mol % based on In) the formation of new C-C as well as C-S bonds through the highly regio- and stereoselective ring-opening reaction of enantiomerically pure epoxides by indoles and 2-naphthalenethiol, resp. The easily prepd. Amberlyst 15/In Lewis acid does not require inert atm. conditions or anhyd. media and can be easily recovered and recycled for several times without loss of activity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
