MORE (Mercury Orbiter Radioscience Experiment) was selected by the ESA Science Program Committee as the radio science experiment of the ESA mission to Mercury, BepiColombo. MORE addresses the mission’s scientific goals in geodesy, geophysics and fundamental physics. The scientific background to a Mercury mission, the experiment goals and the hardware and software developments to be carried out in the framework of this program are briefly reviewed in this paper, together with the plans for the scientific data analysis and the required spacecraft resources.

Abstract
MORE (Mercury Orbiter Radioscience Experiment) was selected by the ESA Science Program Committee as the radio science experiment of the ESA mission to Mercury, BepiColombo. MORE addresses the mission’s scientific goals in geodesy, geophysics and fundamental physics. The scientific background to a Mercury mission, the experiment goals and the hardware and software developments to be carried out in the framework of this program are briefly reviewed in this paper, together with the plans for the scientific data analysis and the required spacecraft resources.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
