In this paper, the main results of an experimental study on creep and shrinkage of Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) are reported. Experimental tests have been carried out at Structural Engineering Laboratory of University of Bologna on SCC specimens characterized by fcm = 55 MPa. Strength and elastic modulus variations with time have also been obtained; experimental data have been used to verify the accuracy of provisions given by CEB Model Code 90 in terms of delayed deformation. These results indicates that further experimental studies are required in order to adopt standard previsions.

Abstract
In this paper, the main results of an experimental study on creep and shrinkage of Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) are reported. Experimental tests have been carried out at Structural Engineering Laboratory of University of Bologna on SCC specimens characterized by fcm = 55 MPa. Strength and elastic modulus variations with time have also been obtained; experimental data have been used to verify the accuracy of provisions given by CEB Model Code 90 in terms of delayed deformation. These results indicates that further experimental studies are required in order to adopt standard previsions.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
