This contribution is aimed at presenting experimental results and analytical evaluations of the overtopping process derived from a new dataset composed of wave basin tests on permeable low-crested structures carried out in Aalborg, DK, and Bari, IT. The contribution first presents a summary of selected layouts, tested structures and performed measurements. Then, the original procedure for evaluating wave by wave overtopping volumes based on data acquired at Wave Gauges over the structures is briefly described and applied to the dataset. Overtopping frequency, volume statistics and mean discharge are obtained and compared with available formulations for emerged structures.
