Learning in mathematics is deeply affected by the ideas that pupils have about themselves as well as by their opinion of maths. Everybody can learn maths, not just a few bright students; to achieve that it is necessary to think of an inclusive prospective. It is fundamental to modify the teaching style in order to activate inclusive processes; the change in teaching is demanding but necessary.
