Islam and France: has something turned sour?

Eight o’clock in the morning, Buxerolles, outskirts of Poitiers, department of Vienne, but above all the region Poitou-Charentes, governed by Ségolène Royal. About seventy militants of the Bloc Identitaire, a tiny far-Right group, have occupied the building site of the large mosque under construction. Only five hours later do the police actually manage to complete the evacuation. Three arrests follow with the opening of an inquiry into unauthorised protest and incitement to racial hatred.
