The exhibition Omaggio a Lorenzo Lotto. I dipinti dell’Ermitage alle Gallerie dell’Accademia, held in Galleria dell'Accademia (Venice) from november 24th 2011 to February 26th 2012, born from the partnership between the Galleria dell'Accademia of Venice and the Ermitage of St. Petersburg, shows two important paintings by Lorenzo Lotto coming from Russia, together with some other Lotto's paintings. The exhibition also give the occasion to focus the attention on Lotto's interest in sculpture, by offering a comparison with some works of Jacopo Sansovino, noted by Lotto himslef in his own account book.
