This paper describes the computing models and the tools developed within the LHC collaborations to realize the offline data handling at LHC. In order to reconstruct and to analyze LHC data the experiments will exploit the Grill distributed computing resources spread over the world. Different analysis software tools have been developed with the aim of providing user friendly interfaces in order to analyze several Petabytes of data that will be collected at LHC. The paper presents all overview of the strategies and the distributed data analysis tools employed by ATLAS. CMS and LHCb.

Abstract
This paper describes the computing models and the tools developed within the LHC collaborations to realize the offline data handling at LHC. In order to reconstruct and to analyze LHC data the experiments will exploit the Grill distributed computing resources spread over the world. Different analysis software tools have been developed with the aim of providing user friendly interfaces in order to analyze several Petabytes of data that will be collected at LHC. The paper presents all overview of the strategies and the distributed data analysis tools employed by ATLAS.
