This paper describes the importance of the study of fluctuations of identified hadrons for the understanding of the properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) that is supposed to be formed in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions. The data were collected in 2010 with ALICE detector at the LHC in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN=2.76 TeV. The technique specifically used for identifing hadrons is described in detail. The first results on K/π fluctuations are shown.

Abstract
This paper describes the importance of the study of fluctuations of identified hadrons for the understanding of the properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) that is supposed to be formed in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions. The data were collected in 2010 with ALICE detector at the LHC in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN=2.76 TeV. The technique specifically used for identifing hadrons is described in detail. The first results on K/π fluctuations are shown.File in questo prodotto:
