In the experimental WP5, task 5.5 was dedicated to laboratory testing with the purpose of evaluating controlled or accelerated ageing of single materials and assemblies under various climatic conditions. Degradation processes were simulated on natural stones, bricks, mortars, plaster, timber, decorative elements, etc. Exploiting the controlled testing conditions of these activities, different testing procedures, different procedures and systems for monitoring the evolution of contamination by aggressive agents and the trigger of the damage, and for monitoring the surrounding environment were applied and adequately calibrated. Further, the behaviour of protective treatments has been analysed in this task.

Abstract
In the experimental WP5, task 5.5 was dedicated to laboratory testing with the purpose of evaluating controlled or accelerated ageing of single materials and assemblies under various climatic conditions. Degradation processes were simulated on natural stones, bricks, mortars, plaster, timber, decorative elements, etc. Exploiting the controlled testing conditions of these activities, different testing procedures, different procedures and systems for monitoring the evolution of contamination by aggressive agents and the trigger of the damage, and for monitoring the surrounding environment were applied and adequately calibrated. Further, the behaviour of protective treatments has been analysed in this task.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
