As a consequence of the worldwide investment increases in the research and development of nano-technologic products, it is foreseen that in 2015 the global economical value will reach 2.5 trillion dollars, involving 2 to 10 million workers [1]. The manufacture and utilization of nanotechnologic products is likely to bring significant innovations and advantages for society, for human health and environment. The safeguard for human health and environment during the entire life cycle of these products is a must in the REACH regulations [2]. In this study some very important views will be underlined concerning the synthesis and chemical/physics characterization of some nano materials, to evaluate both their toxic and eco-toxic properties and to indicate the guidelines to draw up the Chemical Safety Report.

Abstract
As a consequence of the worldwide investment increases in the research and development of nano-technologic products, it is foreseen that in 2015 the global economical value will reach 2.5 trillion dollars, involving 2 to 10 million workers [1]. The manufacture and utilization of nanotechnologic products is likely to bring significant innovations and advantages for society, for human health and environment. The safeguard for human health and environment during the entire life cycle of these products is a must in the REACH regulations [2]. In this study some very important views will be underlined concerning the synthesis and chemical/physics characterization of some nano materials, to evaluate both their toxic and eco-toxic properties and to indicate the guidelines to draw up the Chemical Safety Report.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
