The main objective of the proposal 20095163 was the acquisition of XAS (EXAFS and XANES) spectra, at the beamline XAFS, of a series of hexacyanoferrates–based modified electrodes used for the electrochemical detection of hydrogen peroxide. The used beam time was useful: EXAFS and XANES spectra have been successfully recorded in fluorescence mode revealing, in a wide class of electrodes, differences at the Cu and Fe K-edge absorption edge upon the addition of some well known aliquots of hydrogen peroxide.
