This paper presents a space-time varying channel model for Off-Body scenarios. Real-time measurements at 2.45 GHz were performed using two different antennas, in order to investigate the impact of antenna polarisation on channel characteristics. Channel gain and fading models were extracted in both Line-of-Sight (LOS) and Non Line-of-Sight (NLOS) conditions. A shadowing characterization, which accounts for the angular orientation of the human body, is also presented.

Abstract
This paper presents a space-time varying channel model for Off-Body scenarios. Real-time measurements at 2.45 GHz were performed using two different antennas, in order to investigate the impact of antenna polarisation on channel characteristics. Channel gain and fading models were extracted in both Line-of-Sight (LOS) and Non Line-of-Sight (NLOS) conditions. A shadowing characterization, which accounts for the angular orientation of the human body, is also presented.File in questo prodotto:
