In this study a comparison among five ASR management strategies is carried out with a characterisation and a quantification of environmental impacts related to each scenario investigated by means of a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach. Scenarios were chosen after a screening involving the most common and used technologies, aiming at proposing alternatives to the current disposal in terms of benefits resulting from the conservation of non-renewable resources and reduction of waste disposal.

Abstract
In this study a comparison among five ASR management strategies is carried out with a characterisation and a quantification of environmental impacts related to each scenario investigated by means of a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach. Scenarios were chosen after a screening involving the most common and used technologies, aiming at proposing alternatives to the current disposal in terms of benefits resulting from the conservation of non-renewable resources and reduction of waste disposal.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
