Preliminary results of an experimental study on FRP plates bonded to concrete and subject to long – term loading are presented. Tests are performed in a climatic room, and load constant during time is assured adopting a specifically designed test frame. Evolution with time of axial strains in FRP plates is measured. It is shown that a shear stress redistribution along the bonded length occurs, mainly due to increased compliance of interface law due to creep deformation.

Abstract
Preliminary results of an experimental study on FRP plates bonded to concrete and subject to long – term loading are presented. Tests are performed in a climatic room, and load constant during time is assured adopting a specifically designed test frame. Evolution with time of axial strains in FRP plates is measured. It is shown that a shear stress redistribution along the bonded length occurs, mainly due to increased compliance of interface law due to creep deformation.File in questo prodotto:
