Elastography has been proven to increase accuracy of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) in the differential diagnosis of pancreatic masses. Recent data have questioned its validity when applied in a routine clinical setting outside controlled studies. Further improvements of the technique are warranted to increase the reproducibility of the results and make it a useful clinical tool.

Abstract
Elastography has been proven to increase accuracy of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) in the differential diagnosis of pancreatic masses. Recent data have questioned its validity when applied in a routine clinical setting outside controlled studies. Further improvements of the technique are warranted to increase the reproducibility of the results and make it a useful clinical tool.File in questo prodotto:
