In the present studi the seroprevalence for Chlamydia suis, Chlamydophila pecorum, Chlamydophila abortus and Chlamydophila psittaci was evaluated by microimmunofluorescence test (MIF) in 337 pigs from 18 intensive farms located in Northern Italy. Antibodies to C. suis were detected in 214 out of 337 (63.5%) samples tested.
