Spent mushroom compost alone or with Ca-Lignosulphonate, a by-product of pulping process, and green compost were enriched with a sporal suspension of a strain Trichoderma atroviride tolerant to benomyl. Physical, chemical and microbial parameters of all organic products were determined before the enrichment with T. atroviride. The population dynamic of the fungus was evaluated 2, 52 and 130 days after the enrichment. The suppressive effect of the different organic products against the disease caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.s. melonis was tested on melon plants. The survival of T. atroviride decreased in all products. The survival was higher in champost and in green compost than in chnapost + Ca-Lignosulphonate and in peat. Champost showed a good biocontrol effect against the pathogen fungus. The enrichment of champost with T. atroviride or Ca-Lignosulphonate separately did not modify the biocontrol ability of champost, whereas the presence of T. atroviride and Ca-Lignosulphonate contemporaneously enhanced the suppressivenss of champost.

Abstract
The enrichment of champost with T. atroviride or Ca-Lignosulphonate separately did not modify the biocontrol ability of champost, whereas the presence of T. atroviride and Ca-Lignosulphonate contemporaneously enhanced the suppressivenss of champost.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
