We read with great interest the review article by Drasbek et al. (1). The authors highlighted the use of c-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) as a recreational drug, and its clinical aspects of abuse and treatment. However, the authors paid little attention to the clinical use of GHB, in particular in the treatment of alcoholism.
