The inaccurate application of the transfer function for some MedNet stations in deriving our Statistical Low Noise Model (SLNM) of the Earth led to some bias in its spectral definition at low frequency. We present the corrected SLNM model in Table 1 and Figure 8 below, which should replace Table 1 and Figure 8 of the original manuscript, as well as the corrected ver- sions of the other figures. The figure numbering is the same as in the original manuscript.
