The Asian chestnut gall wasp: brief review of its natural enemies Ten years after its accidental introduction in Europe we analyze the possible control factors of this harmful invasive gall-maker of chestnut: Dryocosmus kuriphilus (the Asian chestnut gall wasp-ACGW). We are considering necessary and essential the application of sustainable management to maintain quality and good production of our typical chestnuts. A brief review of the most recent findings regarding classical biological control of ACGW with the exotic parasitoid Torymus sinensis and other natural enemies with particular reference to Torymus flavipes are reported. This native parasitoid has been found parisitizing the ACGW in a chestnut stand in Bologna province.

Abstract
This native parasitoid has been found parisitizing the ACGW in a chestnut stand in Bologna province.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
