The normal Auger spectrum of the C2H2 molecule, measured far above the C1s threshold by Kivimaki A et al. [J.Phys. B: At. Mol. Opt. Phys. 30, 4279 (1997)], has been calculated analyzing separately the spectral contributions due to the decay processes from the gerade and ungerade carbon 1s core-hole states.
