The emergence of multidrug-resistant bacteria, such as MRSA, poses a special challenge in the treatment of infections in CF and new therapeutic agents are required. The aim of this project was the design, synthesis and evaluation of the “in vitro” activity of new antistaphylococcal agents against recent well characterized antibiotic-resistant and virulent strains of S. aureus isolated from children with CF.

Abstract
The emergence of multidrug-resistant bacteria, such as MRSA, poses a special challenge in the treatment of infections in CF and new therapeutic agents are required. The aim of this project was the design, synthesis and evaluation of the “in vitro” activity of new antistaphylococcal agents against recent well characterized antibiotic-resistant and virulent strains of S. aureus isolated from children with CF.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
