We present a Monte Carlo study of the effects of elastic anisotropy on the textures of nematic films with specific random hybrid boundary conditions. The polarized microscopy images and their evolution are analysed in uniaxial systems for di®erent anchoring strengths and thicknesses.

Abstract
We present a Monte Carlo study of the effects of elastic anisotropy on the textures of nematic films with specific random hybrid boundary conditions. The polarized microscopy images and their evolution are analysed in uniaxial systems for di®erent anchoring strengths and thicknesses.File in questo prodotto:
