The article challenges contemporary claims of ‘deglobalization’ by criti- quing the 1990s understanding of globalization as a homogenizing, market-driven project under U.S. hegemony. Drawing on and extending the authors’ work on ‘global processes’, it proposes an alternative analytical framework that foregrounds the heterogeneous, frictional, and infrastructural dynamics of finance, logistics, extraction, and digital platforms. Situating the current conjuncture within a con- flictual multipolar order marked by war, pole formation, and disrupted relations between capitalism and territorialism, the authors reconceptualize transition as an open and contested spatiotemporal process. They call for a renewed international- ism capable of confronting the global operations of capital and articulating a poli- tics of liberation.

Abstract
They call for a renewed international- ism capable of confronting the global operations of capital and articulating a poli- tics of liberation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
